The Sheiling School offers a holistic educational experience for children and young adults who have moderate, severe or complex learning difficulties. Our diverse provision is able to meet a wide range of individual needs: day and extended-day education, weekly boarding and full boarding placements up to 52 weeks. We tailor support and programmes to meet individual needs.

Based on a fifty acre site on the Hampshire/Dorset border, near the New Forest, our enduring aim is to provide a secure, inclusive, and uplifting environment which meets the needs of the whole child. These goals are at the heart of our provision, and their attainment is enabled by the beautiful natural setting of the school and the ‘intentional community’ style of Camphill where many staff are residential.

The broad curriculum balances intellectual, social and practical skills and is embedded within a rich and diverse community experience which nurtures individual talent and confidence. The pupil’s experience is centred on excellent care facilities and a range of rewarding cultural experiences.
