Volunteer Co-workers

Working togetherEach year we are joined by around 30 young (and not so young!) volunteer co-workers from around the world.  Being a co-worker is demanding work, but potentially very rewarding for those who are willing to engage in the work and to build strong relationships with our pupils.  There are opportunities to stay for 1 year or to stay longer to undertake training and to take on more responsibility.

We are always interested to hear from people who have previous experience of living and working in a Camphill community who might be interested in taking on a role in our community.  Please contact Barbara Wootton directly to discuss possibilities.  We are particularly keen to attract dynamic individuals who want to engage in developing Camphill's social and educational role into the future.

Outing to Bournemouth beachIf you feel like a real challenge then read on...  We have compiled an information sheet to help prospective co-workers understand how we live and work together at the Sheiling School.  The information sheet will tell you more about volunteering as a Co-Worker.  It is important that you read the downloadable notes very carefully before applying so you know what to expect!
(Note: you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to access these notes.)
