Fundraising

We are continually developing the broad provision we offer in support of children and young people in the locality and region who are in need of support. Our developments respond to the changing needs, legislation, standards and expectations of children, young people, parents and families, teachers and funding authorities. Fee income from placing authorities provides for the day to day running costs of the school, though in the current financial crisis there are continual struggles to meet strict budgets. We rely on friends, familes, neighbours, supporters and local businesses and organisations for supporting capital development projects and other initiatives, e.g. helping families fund places on our summer camps, develop IT facilities and upgrading our swimming pool. We appreciate that offering support is difficult, but any help you are able to offer will be gratefully received. There are a number of options:

  • A single Donation
  • A regular gift by direct debit

In both cases, providing you are a UK taxpayer, we can reclaim the tax on any gift or donation if you complete a Gift Aid form. You may also consider:

  • Leaving a gift in your will (indicating it should be used to benefit children who have special needs, at The Sheiling School Ringwood).

Your support is greatly appreciated and benefits the children and young people directly.
